THEATER | UR One-Act New Play Festival

Rochester is the home to many prominent actors, such as Taye Diggs and Kristen Wiig. It's also home to the University of Rochester's International Theatre Program. The program aims to train students to be theater professionals by offering them a comprehensive introduction to the performance aspects and technical demands of theater. The program has produced more than 75 full productions and performed works by writers such as William Shakespeare, Alexander Ostrovsky, and Moss Hart.

Hear from some new voices at the 16th Annual One-Act New Play Festival, written, directed, acted, and designed by UR students. The show opens on Saturday, March 22, at 8 p.m., and continues Saturday-Monday, March 22-24, at 8 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday, March 23, at 3 p.m. Tickets cost $3.
