Describing itself as a “Latin fusion bistro and cantina,” Dorado initially sells the concept with its vibrant decor, made up of murals and artwork on textured walls that give this cozy eatery a distinct Central American feel. At the center sits the bar, brimming with an array of beer, wine, tequila, and other liquids used to create margaritas, sangria, and the like. The menu features Mexican favorites such as tacos, burritos, and enchiladas, along with steak, fish, and mole. Summertime brings the sidewalk seating, which puts you right in the Park Avenue thick of it.
