The history of this American genre stretches back well over a century and includes some wonderful musicians, many of whom remain unknown to the average music lover. This class will use text, photos, audio, video and case studies on jug band artists to explore the history of jug band music. Participants will emerge with an understanding of the depth and breadth of the genre.
