Dr. Linda S. Rayor, Senior Lecturer/ Senior Research Associate, has been on the faculty of the Department of Entomology at Cornell University since 1994. She will discuss the biology and importance of spiders in ecosystems around the world,  She is currently President Elect of the American Arachnological Society and has travelled to many countries such as Borneo and has set up many exhibits on spiders such as the one in Raleigh, NC, Spiders: From Fear to Fascination.
