SPECIAL EVENT/MUSIC: It’s one of the biggest party nights of
the year, and if you are going to eat all that turkey, you might as well dance
and make room for it tonight. Just some of the cornucopia of offerings tonight

COMEDY: Laugh off the woes of spending painful hours with
your family this Thanksgiving at Talent’s
Thanksgiving Comedy Jam. The show begins tonight at 8 p.m. at the
Auditorium Theatre ( 885 E. Main St.), and features DL
Hughley, Bill Bellamy, and Talent’s “Mr. It’s Just

MUSIC: For years I thought the Good Rats were from
Rochester, they played here so much. These Long Island barroom rock ‘n’ roll
underdogs have rocked and rolled forever (since 1964, to be exact). Their hit
Tasty was my favorite air-guitar-in-my-underpants tunes. They’ll be joined by
Rochester troubadour Dave McGrath and the Zeppelin tribute The Sound Remains
the Same tonight at the Main Street Armory for the Tribute to the Troops concert (900 E. Main St., 4 p.m., $10-$45,
rochestermainstreetarmory.com). Proceeds benefit Warriors Salute.

SPORTS: Veer away from the traditional football viewing
during the holidays in exchange for some soccer with the Rochester Lancers v. Chicago Soul. Make it in time for 7 p.m.
