The headliners for the 2013 Xerox Rochester
International Jazz Festival were announced this morning on the XRIJF website.
Although festival co-producer and artistic director John Nugent said that one more headliner is yet to be announced, the current line-up is:

Friday, June 21: An
Evening with Pink Martini
($55-$105)

Saturday, June 22: An
Evening with Willie Nelson & Family
($70-$105)

Tuesday, June 25: David
Byrne & St. Vincent
($70-$105)

Wednesday, June 26: Breakfast
in America w/Roger Hodgson of Supertramp
($70-$125)

Thursday, June 27: Bob
James & David Sanborn w/Steve Gadd
($40-$85)

All shows will take place at 8 p.m. in Kodak Hall at Eastman
Theatre. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 25, at 10 a.m. exclusively through the Jazz
Festival website
or by phone at 585-454-2060. A one-day in-person sale will also take place at the Kodak Hall Box Office (corner of Gibbs and Main streets) January 25 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Club Passes for the 2013 festival, which will run June 21-29,
are also still on sale.

  1. Who? As long as Trombone Shorty comes back, I’m in. How about some NOLA acts like Rebirth Brass Band, Soul Rebels Brass Band, Galactic?
