After a nearly
15-year run at its Culver and Atlantic location, Sticky Lips Pit BBQ will close
its doors for good on October 9. Despite recent and ongoing renovations, “It just got too big for the sales that the restaurant was
currently producing,” according to owner Howie Nielsen. Nielsen’s son
Danny Nielsen — who runs Photo City Improv in the
rear of the complex — says he will remain open, stating that “They’ll have to
drag my corpse out first.” Sticky Lips’ Jefferson Road location in Henrietta
will remain open, with the majority of the Culver and Atlantic staff being
transferred there.
