Each Sunday morning, almost without fail, my Facebook and Twitter feeds are flooded with updates about my friends’ weekends. As I view picture of them holding their red Solo Cups, I can’t help but wonder if they had given any thought ass to who might see this photo before they uploaded it.

Coping with the homesick blues
Before I left for RIT I remember telling my Mom that I would never get homesick. I thought I would probably come home once during the 10-week quarter, if at all. It wasn’t that I wanted to get away from my parents. I simply was excited to be on my own and make a lot of new friends.
