Cornucopia of Cooking: Celebrate the End of the Summer Harvest will take

LECTURE: RPO music director ArildRemmereit will speak to audiences at the
Tower Fine Arts Center at SUNY Brockport (180 Holley St., Brockport) tonight at
6:30 p.m. Remmereit will speak about the work of a
conductor, his experiences on the podium, and his

MUSIC: Love may be blind, but it doesn’t take an all-seeing eye
to have a good time with music — that’s more the ears’ forte. Head down to the
Bug Jar (219 Monroe Ave.) tonight for the Blind
Owl Band, a bluegrass/folk-leaning stomp group hailing from Saranac Lake.
