p.m., presented by Geneva Theatre Guild at Geneva Community Center (160 Carter

MUSIC: Afrojack will be spinning Sunday at the Main Street Armory
(900 E. Main St., rochestermainstreetarmory.com) as part of his Jacked Fall
Tour, mixing and mashing music to get your feet dancing. Quintino
will be opening up the night. Music starts at 6 p.m., the cheaper tickets are
sold out but $45 level ones are still available at midnitesociety.com or via

MUSIC: Bremerton, Washington pop-punk mainstays MxPxhave been at the game for so long,
Clinton-era fans who grew up with their infectious
brand of pretense-free punk now have kids of their own. That the band is still
together, rocking out is a testament to its tried and true punk-rock appeal. MxPx shares the stage with Unwritten Law at the Water
Street Music Hall (204 N. Water St., waterstreetmusic.com, 7 p.m., $15-$18) on
Sunday night.

SPORTS: The XXII
American International Karate Championships
will take place Saturday,
November 3, 10 a.m.-11 p.m., at Rochester Riverside Convention Center (123 E.

MUSIC: A double bill of folk/roots rock will be taking
Abilene (152 Liberty Pole Way, abilenebarandlounge.com) by storm tonight,
starting off with The Wamack Family Band at 8:30 p.m. and singer-songwriter
roots-rocker The Adam Ezra Group taking the stage at 10 p.m. Cover runs $7-$10.

MUSIC: Saturday night is special this week: we get to do a
little time travel magic and fall back an extra hour. This might mean extra
sleep for some of you, but it also means an extra hour of partying it up! One
Nightclub (1 Ryan Alley, facebook.com/1Nightclub) will be celebrating with a Plus One! Party, technically staying open until the wee hours of 3
a.m. Cover is free until 11:30 p.m., so get down early and marathon the night
away.

ART: The Weavers’
Guild of Rochester
will hold its annual Holiday Sale Saturday-Sunday, November
3-4, noon-5 p.m. at Brighton Town Park Lodge (777 Westfall Road). Admission is

DANCE: SUNY Brockport will host a dance performance at Hartwell Dance Hall (180 Holley St.,

MUSIC: Whenever I’m alone or feeling lonely, I pretend I can
play the drums. Can you actually play the drums? If so, you probably don’t want
to miss the Drum Expo at the House
of Guitars (645 Titus Ave., houseofguitars.com) on Saturday, starting at 10
a.m. With deals, performances, clinics, and more fun than you can shake a drum
stick at, this is the perfect event for the percussionist inside of everybody.

MUSIC: Whoever said monks can’t be funny? Part musician,
part comedian, part writer, part director, and creator of the TV show
“Sex, God, Rock ‘n Roll,” Stuart
Davis
will be performing Saturday at the Rochester Zen Center (7 Arnold Park , rzc.org). Performance starts at 8 p.m., and tickets
run $20-$50, or $150 for an exclusive meet and greet.

MUSIC: Looking for some choral music to enjoy on Sunday? SladkiDoumi Women’s
Balkan Chorus of Rochester
will be performing Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at
the Central Library (Kate Gleason Auditorium, 115 South Ave.) for free, so if
you’re looking for an afternoon to relax to the sounds of ethnic chorus
arrangements.
