MUSIC: Pop pop! Get ready to get
your best radio-friendly mosh at the Pop-Punk

State Champs, Allison Weiss, Storm the Bay, Mouthful, and Through The Crowd. It’s an afternoon show — the rock begins at 2:30

MUSIC: It ain’tnothin’ but a party when one-man band Bob Log III rolls into town. Dressed like one of those
circus maniacs that gets fired from a canon, Log plays
viciously raw Delta blues on slide guitar with his hands, while tackling the
drums with his feet. The vocals are shouted through a telephone receiver
mounted on the windscreen of his motorcycle helmet. It’s unpredictable madness.
Perhaps it’s even a little bizarre, and Log’s tunes — full of lust, excess, and
alcohol — are there to stir things up. Check him out Sunday at the Bug Jar (219
Monroe Ave., bugjar.com), 9 p.m., tickets $8-$12.

party all night. Head on down Saturday, starting at 2 p.m. Admission is only $5.
Get ready to dance the night away.
