It’s Thanksgiving! Hopefully you’re spending it stuffing your face with your family, watching the Macy’s Parade, or catching some football. But here are some other options:

RECREATION: Make like a turkey and trot at the 41st Webster Turkey Trot. The 4.4 mile
starts at 10 a.m., 2.5 mile starts at 10:10 a.m. Registration at 8:15 a.m. at Parkview Lodge, but note
that it may be closed due to too many participants (check the website for
details). $25. 225 Holt Road, Webster. yellowjacketracing.com.

MUSIC: RIPROC‘s
weekly Thursday-night residency at Dubland
Underground (315 Alexander St.) continues this week with Harmony Flo and Tim
Tones, bringing along Keto, Bizmuth,
PapiChulo, MK, DropDead, and Mic See all in
support. Music starts at 10 p.m., cover runs $5-$15.

FILM: After all that food, it’s nice to just sit down and
zone out to a good movie. Movies opening in wide release this week include “Life of Pi” and “Rise of the Guardians.” The Little Theatre (240 East Ave.) will also present “A Late Quartet.”

MUSIC: Looking for an alternative to all the pots, pans, and
cleaning that come with a home-cooked Thanksgiving meal? Why not go out tonight
instead and make a new family tradition, and you can check out Bill Slater‘s solo piano jazz work
tonight at Horizon’s Restaurant in Woodcliff Hotel & Spa (199 Woodcliff Drive,
Fairport, woodcliffhotelspa.com, 5:30 p.m., free).

SPECIAL EVENT: Once all of the mayhem with the family is
finished, join the Scotland Yard Pub for its 2nd Annual Nap After Thanksgiving Party. Grab a nightcap while
watching football and enjoying some special menu items from the kitchen. 8
p.m.-midnight. 187
