MUSIC: Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie are both
artists who are visual in the extreme and revel in the filth of humanity, but
it’s Zombie’s keen B-Movie, cinematic sensibility that truly sends me. But he
doesn’t overdo it, rocking on stage and getting his slasherya-yas out on the screen. He’s earned seven Grammy
nominations this way and has created nouveau classics like “The Devil’s
Rejects,” “House of 1000 Corpses,” and a cool remake of “Halloween.” While the
paint dries on his current movie “The Lords of Salem,” Zombie returns to the
stage to rock and horrify for the first time since his co-headline tour with
Slayer last summer. This time he’s with Manson for the “Twins of Evil” Tour. Head

THEATER: What happens
when Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis discuss God, love, sex, music, and the
meaning of life on the eve of England’s entry into WWII? Find out at “Freud’s
Last Session,” staged at Geva Theatre Center (75

MUSIC: I can’t say
I’ve ever been to Nashville, but it’s one of the music capitols of the world,
so I suppose at least a few good musicians have come from there. You go can go ahead
and add rockers Kink Ador to that list, and
you won’t even have to travel that far south to see them. The band will be
playing tonight at Boulder Coffee (100 Alexander St., bouldercoffeeco.com) at 8
p.m. And it’s free, so what reason do you have to say no?

Lomas features photography, video, sculpture, and audio works concerning

I’m not about to dive into a pool or do another daring stunt, Geronimo! Is the name of Chicago-based rock band that will be hitting up the Bug Jar (219
