MUSIC: If you are a fan of Tom Waits, Finger Lakes Community
College (FLCC Student Center, 3325 Marvin Sands Drive, Canandaigua)
has quite the event for you tonight: its third annual Tom Waits tribute concert.
This year’s entry, titled “Frank’s Wild
Years Revisited,” will take place on Stage 14 on the second floor of the
FLCC Student Center at 7 p.m. The concert is free for FLCC student, $2 for GA.
MUSIC: Choo-choo! Time to jump on
that holiday train, and what better way than to check out the great Trans-Siberian Orchestra tonight at the
Blue Cross Arena (1 War Memorial Square, bluecrossarena.com), which will be performing
its multi-platinum rock opera, “The Lost Christmas Eve.” Tickets run
$32.75-$60.75, the holiday cheer starts at 7:30 p.m.
LIT: Rochester’s Central Public Library (115 South Ave.)
will host its annual Holiday Fiction
Used Book Sale Mondays-Fridays through December 31. The sale kicks off

lunchtime concert starts at 12:10 p.m. and wraps by 12:50 p.m., giving you that
perfect window to hit it during your lunch break.

life? Of course you do, so head on down to see Kaskha at the Bug Jar (219
Monroe Ave., bugjar.com) tonight at 9 p.m., cover running $6-$8. Rochester
musicians Seth Faergolzia, A Victory for Upfish, and Ben Morey open up the night.
