‘Schlock Value’
Self-released

Cut the heart out of
the Linkster’s “Jack The Ripper” and goose it with an
Elvis Costello-esque, jackbooted march, and you’ve
got the opening track to “Schlock Value,” Harmonica Lewinski’s new, most
excellent seven-inch pleasure platter of colorfully psychedelic surf trash.
Recorded in the bowels of Irondequoit, the band punches a decidedly delicious
series of jabs into rock ‘n’ roll’s golden years and guts. HL adds its own
unparalleled twists and turns to the mayhem, ร la The Cramps, with an organ
drone fit for Halloween and vocals reverberating from the grave.
