Ever since Guster released “Lost and Gone Forever” two decades ago, there’s been a bond between the band and local fans. Guster has made Rochester a regular tour stop and in turn, Flower City Gusterrhoids have flocked to the band’s shows. I’ve seen this band perform more than any other, so expect catchy songs that you can sing along with, plus mainstays like drummer Brian Rosenworcel’s hand percussion – it’s one of rock ‘n’ roll’s mighty spectacles. Guster is touring in support of its eighth studio album, “Look Alive.”
Guster performs with Henry Jamison on Wednesday, January 23, 8:00 p.m. at Anthology, 336 East Ave. $29.50. 484-1964. anthologylive.com; guster.com.
