Lady Antebellum is a pop-country sensation. Its first album was certified platinum, and since then the band has produced a string of No. 1 hits, including "Need You Now" and "Just a Kiss." Detractors of the group bemoan its pop-friendly sound, saying that it's not twangy or "authentic" enough to be "true" country. I say, if millions of country-music fans and the country-music industry as a whole dig what they're putting out, they're plenty country for me.
