Next thing I know, I was asleep at my desk, my elbows sloshing around in drool; I was hypnotized by the stuff I was listening to by Columbus, Ohio’s soundscape sculptors The End of the Ocean. It was huge, even though it had kicked off in an ultra-mellow exploration where the band built the road seconds before rolling over it toward bigger and louder things. It made me feel high … or higher?
