Next year’s four-day festival will be held Thursday April 24
through Sunday April 27, 2014, presenting the finest in independent films from
around the world and celebrating the achievements of women in all aspects of
filmmaking.

Venues already confirmed for 2014 include The Little Theatre,
the Dryden Theatre at the George Eastman House International Museum of
Photography and Film, and the Cinema Theater.

Mary Howard, Executive Director said, “As the festival
continues to receive praise for our 2013 return, planning for our 2014 festival
has already begun! It’s exciting to be part of a community that strongly
supports film, especially films made by women. Next year’s festival will
continue screening outstanding films at area landmark theaters. And to keep
going and growing, we anticipate adding more downtown venues with some very
cool events. So stay tuned!”

The 2013 Festival was a great success, exceeding attendance
estimates, drawing a record number of film submissions and also a record number
of women filmmakers.

Information on when films may be submitted, and ticket
packages will be announced this fall.
