The New York
State Court of Appeals, the highest court in the state, issued a statement
today essentially denying New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms the ability
to appeal the Marriage Equality Act. The law permits same-sex couples in New
York to marry.
“With the court’s
decision, same-sex couples no longer have to worry that their right to marry
could be legally challenged in this state,” said Governor Andrew Cuomo’s office
in a written statement.

A law with no appeal? Indeed.
after being appealed to the highest court applicable The New York State Court of Appeals, the highest court in the state , you complain no appeal…This is a state law, it was appealed to the highest State court and upheld…Peoples rights were upheld and no one was denied any rights in the law or in the appeal. That is why this is fair.
