Curated by current Hobart & William Smith (HWS) students, Juxtapositions is an exhibition of a diverse selection of works from the HWS Art Collection. The show consists of pairs of objects that would likely not otherwise appear together. Bringing artistic methods, cultural contexts, and historical moments that are frequently held apart into a physical and visual dialogue, this exhibition seeks to raise critical questions regarding conventions of display that have historically elevated some stories while marginalizing or omitting others. Opening: Saturday, April 15, 4–6 pm. Exhibit runs through May 6. Music for the opening by Unholy Alliance
