Her name is Darlinda (Just Darlinda)
and she will send ya, just send ya.
She set my head on fire. She’s the reason I could taste blood this morning from
screaming my head off during her two trips to strip on the Spiegeltent
stage where she taunted and teased and bumped as a featured performer in Princess
Wendy’s Late Nite Tease Room.
But it was so much more than straight up T&A affair. The
platinum-headed Princess Wendy lorded over this glorious low-brow affair with
mucho enthusiasm and her magic wand. There was a heavy metal magician,
jugglers, a rather creepy trench-coat type character with a bullwhip, a
super-lithe aerial performer who took my breath away … and of course, Darlinda. This was classic burlesque at its rowdy best.
Goddamn!

and Saturday, September 26, in the Speigeltent. 9:30
p.m. $18. Appropriate for mature audiences.
