MUSIC: Three bands take the stage tonight at the Bug Jar (219 Monroe Ave., bugjar.com), with local acoustic folk rockers Baby Shark headlining the night. Nick Walter and Peter House will be opening up, music starts at 9 p.m., and cover costs $5-$7.

MUSIC: Want to enjoy some music and work toward a higher purpose at the same time? A Concert of Peace will be taking place tonight at Bernunzio's Uptown Music (122 East Ave., bernunzio.com) featuring SonamTargee, Bruce McClellan, and Steven Imburgia. A partnership between Bernuzio's, SUNY Empire State College, United Nations Association of Rochester, and the M.K. Gandhi Institute of Nonviolence, the event is taking place in honor of Mahatma Gandhi's 143rd birthday. Reception starts at 6 p.m., music at 7 p.m., and you can RSVP to 244-3271.
