Little partners with Geva for new film series

Geva and The Little Theatre have teamed up to present a cult musical film series on Wednesday nights, kicking off this week with "Little Shop of Horrors." The series continues with John Waters' classic pro-integration, teenage dream, "Hairspray," on January 28; "The Wiz," set not in Kansas, but Harlem, and starring a young Michael Jackson, on February 4; and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," the story of an East Berliner and the remains of his boyhood. An expert in the musical, theatrical, or cinematic genre will host a discussion after each screening.

Each screening takes place at 6:30 p.m. and admission is $7. A $20 package deal is available for patrons seeing more than one show -- included in that price is a regular run film at The Little of the patron's choice. For more information, call 258-0400 or visit thelittle.org.
