Violist Kim Kashkashian, flautist Mariana Piccinini, and harpist Sivan Magen have each racked up awards and acclaim for their unique touches in the classical music world. But after the three played together for the first time at the 2010 Marlboro Music Festival, they found that they had an undeniable chemistry. The trio plays regularly and released its first recording in 2014 through ECM New Series. For its appearance at Kilbourn Hall on Tuesday, Tre Voci will play a hefty set of works, including J.S. Bach's Trio Sonata in G Major; Bartok's "Suite Hongroise Paysanne" and "Rumanian Dances"; Debussy's "Children's Corner Suite" and "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun"; and Prokofiev's Suite No. 2 from "Romeo and Juliet."
Tre Voci performs Tuesday, November 10, at Eastman School of Music's Kilbourn Hall, 26 Gibbs Street. 8 p.m. $20-$30. 454-2100; eastmantheatre.org.
