Wu-Tang Clan's lyrical master, GZA — "The Genius" — is considered one of the best lyricists in hip-hop. Amidst a misunderstood and much maligned genre, Wu-Tang emerged out of Staten Island in the early 1990's. It's GZA's unapologetic turn of phrase and the group's bold, eccentric-laden stance that has rags like Rolling Stone calling it "the best rap group ever." Ratking, Lucky Labrats, and H.E.X.X. share the bill.
