JAZZ | Diana Krall

Maybe it's that breathy voice rising over those tastefully sparse arrangements that makes Diana Krall the current queen of jazz. But it could also be the fact that she never stands still. Over the last two and a half decades, Krall has released albums of jazz standards, songs from early 78 RPM records, contemporary classics, and more. Her latest album, "Turn Up The Quiet," raids the Great American Songbook for gorgeous takes on "Moonglow," "Night And Day," "Blue Skies," and many more. She's sure to perform some of them under the stars at CMAC.

Diana Krall plays Saturday, June 10, CMAC, 3355 Marvin Sands Drive in Canandaigua. 7 p.m. $33-$99. 394-4400; cmacevents.com; dianakrall.com.
