LECTURE | 'Jason Lee: A Plain View'

Actor and photographer Jason Lee will this week speak in Rochester as part of the George Eastman Museum's Wish You Were Here photography lecture series. Lee's talk will center on his newest, Texas-focused installment of photographs in his ongoing series, "A Plain View," which is a documentation of rural America. Lee created his images using expired 4x5 Kodak color films. A book signing will follow the lecture.

Jason Lee's talk takes place on Thursday, August 23, at 6 p.m. in the Dryden Theatre at George Eastman Museum, 900 East Avenue. Doors open 45 minutes before the lecture begins. Admission is $10 ($5 for students with ID, free for museum members), and limited seating is first come, first serve. There are no advance ticket sales, but preordering Lee's book "A Plain View" through the museum store guarantees you two tickets to the talk. 327-4800; eastman.org.
