THEATER | "Jackie"

Fifty years ago, one of the most tragic and scrutinized events in our country's history occurred when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated while riding in a motorcade through Dallas.

While there are many accounts of what happened, from many different people, none may be as important as the point of view of Kennedy's wife, Jacqueline, who was riding beside him when he was shot. Her recollections have been turned into a one-woman play titled "Jackie," which will be running this weekend at two different venues.

InFusion Action Theatre will present local actress Nancy Fancher in Nobel Prize-winning author Elfriede Jelinek's "Jackie," directed by Darryll D. Rudy. See the show Friday, November 29, at MuCCC (142 Atlantic Ave.) at 7:30 p.m., or Sunday, December 1, 1 p.m. at the Little Theatre Café (240 East Ave.) Tickets cost $20 for each show.
